Welcome to our new DPhils and part IIs!

Welcome to our new DPhils, Gurshinder Kaur and Chiara Pigaiani and our new part II students Srija Ghosh, Amy Hawkins and Andrew Muir.

Gurshinder joins us from the University of Birmingham, after spending her final year undertaking a research project in the group of Dr Sarah Pike investingating the synthesis of light-responsive helical aromatic oligoamide foldamers for anion binding.

Chiara is in her first year of the OxICFM CDT and due to start her research project in April. She completed her MChem degree at the University of Oxford in 2023, spending her final year working in the group of Prof. Harry Anderson, studying ion transport through porphyrin nanorings.
